A participação assídua de Zenaide Maia (Pros – RN) na CPI da Covid foi reconhecida por vários integrantes da Comissão Parlamentar de Inquérito, no último dia de funcionamento do colegiado, nesta terça (26). Em uma dura fala final, a senadora potiguar indagou: “Como não punir o presidente e todos os que colaboraram com essa política de morte?”. Em seguida, Zenaide fez um verdadeiro retrospecto de declarações, ações e omissões do presidente Jair Bolsonaro e de seu governo: “Um presidente que insistiu numa política criminosa de imunidade de rebanho, assumindo o risco de morte para milhares. Que incitou a invasão de hospitais; que insistiu em não comprar vacinas idôneas ofertadas desde 2020 e preferiu comprar vacinas não aprovadas pela Anvisa, como a Covaxin, e ainda fechando os olhos para o esquema de corrupção na compra dessas vacinas porque ele empenhou R$ 1,6 bilhões e só parou porque a CPI chamou a atenção para isso”, elencou a senadora.
Zenaide lembrou a falta de campanhas educativas para o uso de máscaras e o distanciamento social; a incapacidade do presidente de demonstrar empatia com as mortes e a divulgação de fake news sobre as vacinas. A parlamentar não esqueceu de criticar, também, a defesa de medicamentos sem eficácia contra a covid: “Levando à ilusão de que, se o povo tomasse esses medicamentos, ou não adoecia, ou não teria a forma grave da doença”, pontuou. Disse, ainda, que o presidente “demitiu médicos e técnicos do Ministério da Saúde e preferiu se acercar de profissionais que dissessem ‘amém’ para os seus atos negacionista que levaram a milhares de mortes evitáveis?”.
Por sugestão de Zenaide, os parlamentares formarão um Observatório para acompanhar, a partir de agora, os desdobramentos dos pedidos de indiciamento do presidente e de outros 79 nomes, entre pessoas e empresas investigadas durante os seis meses de CPI.
Os candidatos à presidência e vice-presidência da OAB Mossoró, Hermeson Pinheiro e Diana Paula, estiveram nesta quarta-feira (27), às 10 horas, em audiência com a reitora da Universidade do Estado do Rio Grande do Norte, Cicília Maia.
Em sua fala, Cicília destacou: “Fico feliz em ver dois jovens aguerridos se colocando à disposição de um projeto por acreditar que podem dar sua contribuição. Nós, jovens, muitas vezes somos julgados por acreditarem que não temos competência, nós temos competência de sobra e precisamos ocupar esse lugar de fala.
Em outro momento da reunião a reitora destacou: “Eu preciso dizer a vocês, como reitora, que precisamos dialogar mais institucionalmente. Principalmente, no acolhimento aos egressos, na construção e avanço das nossas matrizes curriculares para uma melhor preparação do profissional para o mercado de trabalho”.
A visita demonstra a importância e reconhecimento à UERN. “Nossa gestão quer ampliar o diálogo entre a subseccional e a Universidade. O sonho de ver a UERN, enfim, ter sua autonomia financeira conta com nossa defesa, dado que entendemos que todo e qualquer avanço nas instituições públicas de ensino é uma vitória da educação e da democracia”, comentou o futuro presidente da OAB Mossoró Hermeson.
Também participaram da audiência o advogado, consultor geral do município e, também professor do curso de Direito da Uern, Humberto Fernandes, o assessor jurídico da Universidade, Iata Anderson, do candidato a vice-presidente da OAB RN, Sebastião Jales, a candidata a conselheira federal da OAB RN, Drª Izabel Fernandes, o candidato a conselheiro estadual e, também professor de Direito da Uern, Dennys Tavares, e os advogados: Igor Bernardino, Francisco Valadares.
“Foi uma visita de aproximação entendendo a importância e função da Ordem. Nossa gestão quer se aproximar da instituição e espera estabelecer vínculos apoiando em que sejam necessárias seu suporte”, finalizou Hermeson.
A Comissão Parlamentar de Inquérito da Assembleia Legislativa do Rio Grande do Norte discutiu, na tarde desta quarta-feira (27), contrato referente à prestação de serviços de gestão e operacionalização de leitos de UTI covid nos hospitais João Machado e Alfredo Mesquita Filho, em Natal e Macaíba, respectivamente. Duas Duas testemunhas foram ouvidas e falaram sobre a contratação da organização social que prestou os serviços.
A diretora do hospital João Machado, Leidiane Fernandes de Queiroz, foi a primeira ouvida pelos parlamentares. O vice-presidente da CPI da Covid, deputado Getúlio Rêgo (DEM), comandou os trabalhos devido à ausência justificada do deputado presidente Kelps Lima (Solidariedade). Após o presidente em exercício explicar a condição da depoente, que era testemunha, o deputado relato, Francisco do PT, iniciou as arguições para ter mais informações acerca do contrato e dos serviços.
A testemunha explicou a necessidade da contratação dos leitos e confirmou que os serviços contratados foram prestados pela organização social. Questionada pelo deputado Gustavo Carvalho (PSDB) sobre possíveis inconsistências na prestação e divergências sobre valores, a diretora do hospital explicou que, dentro de sua função, o acompanhamento das atividades foi realizada e o contrato foi cumprido.
Também na sessão, a servidora Anna Clara da Cunha Torquato Rêgo, na condição de testemunha, tirou dúvidas sobre os trâmites jurídicos da contratação, assim como sobre os questionamentos que estão na justiça, tanto por parte do Executivo quanto da organização social, acerca dos valores que deveriam ser pagos.
“O que pudemos observar é que, mesmo havendo falhas, não houve dolo por parte dos envolvidos. O que precisamos é ter as informações necessárias para que o Governo não seja prejudicado com pagamentos de maneira superior ao que deveria ser pago”, explicou Gustavo Carvalho.
Ainda para esta quarta-feira, estava previsto o depoimento de Rafael Góis Campos, mas ele informou que não poderia comparecer por estar trabalhando em outra cidade. A comissão disse que vai remarcar a oitiva. Além disso, para a quinta-feira (28), serão ouvidos outros três servidores da Secretaria de Saúde, também sobre o contrato analisado nesta quarta-feira.
